I always say I am biased because I was born in the month of October, but I think that nearly everyone can agree with me that it is by far one of the very best months of the year. Come mid-September, I have probably gotten my fall stuff out already!!
I just die for these pumpkins. I ventured out to the Atlanta State Farmer’s Market and it was SO worth it. Being only about 20 minutes from our house I will definitely be making the trip out there every season to get these beauties! HI! Someone snuck in a pic of me while helping take photos (Thanks Rus)
Only a few items and literally 5 minutes and you will have this cute wreath!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- One wicker wreath
- One bunch of your favorite artificial flowers
- Hot glue
I thought this yellow/orange/red bunch perfectly matched our fabulous red door!
Can you see my precious Scout?! She is always so interested in everything I am doing!
Here’s what you’ll need for this cute wreath:
- Burlap ribbon
- Black ribbon
- Hot glue
- Tan pipe cleaners
- A fun accent such as my glitter skeleton (found him at Hobby Lobby)
I am still in the process of really mastering how to do a burlap ribbon wreath, but this great tutorial on YouTube really helped me out! I attached the skeleton and black ribbon with the pipe cleaners as well!
My mom always knows how to make me happy. She got me this little door hanger at our favorite store, Hobby Lobby!
Remember my DIY Chalkboard? I have now begun to use it as a seasonal board. I freehanded this whole thing with normal chalk, not too shabby!
I love these pumpkins! I got them ALL for less than $20 at Michael’s, love that place!
I hope this post inspires you to do a little decorating this October!
Happy first Friday of October y’all!
xo,
Emily
